This was the first progressive metal album I mixed. During this project I developed a lot of techniques for creating impact and retaining clarity. For the band it was really important that all the details they put in their arrangement were audible.

For me this was also the first time I was auditioned. They asked me to mix one song and apparently I beat two other mixers, so I could do the whole album. As an artist this is a nice position to be in, because you can easily assess who is right for you art.
